Staff Accountant
WASHINGTON VASCULAR
Annual Salary: $69,139–$70,000
Washington Vascular Specialists is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage and support the organization’s day-to-day financial operations.
Position Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate general ledger records
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Assisting with month-end closing activities
- Monitoring billing cycles and financial transactions
- Reviewing the accuracy of figures, calculations, and financial postings recorded by other employees
- Supporting payroll and tax preparation activities
- Helping ensure compliance with applicable financial and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA requirements
- Maintaining accurate, complete, and confidential financial records
Education Requirement
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is required.
Compensation
The annual salary for this position is $69,139–$70,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
